Default how install shifter to ground?

hi guys. my name is Fırat. i from Istanbul / Turkey. my dear friend Michael Berenis recommend this forum. I have a 1985 Chevrolet Impala 9C1. it has V8 350 / Th350. i was modified with edelbrock performer rpm set. you can check-out here: StreetFire - Car Video, Car Crashes, Race Car Videos, and More

i want to use shifter on the ground. normally i use column shifter. but its not for performance. which shifter is good for me? by the way maybe i will use 4 speed transmission in the future. also the shifter must be have long shifter stick.

can you guys, recommend any shifter for me? and later tell me how do i use? how do i install, how can i connect all lines (reverse shift, revers shift light connection etc.) or else?

all advice are good for me.

Thanks, Fırat.

i believe hurst sells a universal shifter for the th350/400. you may have to retrofit the column or go with an aftermarket column to eliminate the shifter. as far as installing the floor shifter it should be straight forward if your comfortable cutting a hole in your trans hump and routing cables/wires.
