Arrow Tranny mating to a 350 small block

ok, i have an 84 s10 pick up and i put an old 350 smal block from a 74 comaro in it. i hate automatic trannys but thats what came with the emgine so iv just been using it, but i have no idea about what 5-speed trannys can be converted to be used on my set up or what is supposed to be used. im going for a mechanical clutch cable delivery system, no hydrolic please, not enough room under the hood. Any help is nice, thanks.

i really want to get a 6 speed manual if i could guys, if someone could tell me how to make that happen id be happy as hell but just a 5 speed is cool too if there is no way possible due to splines and length of the in put shaft. id even find a way to put a master cylinder in for hydrolic clutch if i could go 6-speed.

Is a t56 a 6-speed? Like would a tremec 6-speed work from a 01-04 vet?

No a corvette one will not work, a 93-97 camaro / firebird one would be your best bet, you will need an aftermarket flywheel for your 2 piece rms crank, the shifter location is also further rearward than a T5 which was available in the S10.

You also make absolutely no sense saying you dont have room for a hydraulic master, but you somehow have room for manual linkage ? A Z bar setup is going to require a lot more room, and a lot more headache than a hydraulic master.

I have a world class T5 from a 92 camaro for sale if you are interested.

The T5 I have, with its bellhousing will bolt up with the belhousing (have it also), a 93-97 LT1 T56 will also bolt up, with the T56 you'll need an aftermarket 2 piece rms T56 flywheel, with the T5 you'll need a stock 2 piece rms flywheel, as the only one I have is for a 1 piece rms.

I also have a 94 or so S10 clutch master cylinder you can have free, whether you buy the trans or not, you may or may not be able to end up using it.
