Default Any TBI GURUs? 95 sierra problems no DTCs

My truck is running like ass. It seems too be running very rich. I found a and fixed a vacuum leak going to the map sensor and now it will not idle on its own. the spark plugs were really dark so i cleaned them and tested them . I have spark at all the cylinders. the timing is good and at Wide open throttle the engine starts to die.

would a leaky injector leak fuel with the engine off?

things I have replaced:
IAC valve
Fuel pressure regulator
Coolant Temp Sensor
the 02 sensor is fairly new about 5 months old

any suggestions?

so does this engine have the fuel injector above the throttle body? or are the injectors inside the manifold? the spider style (inside the manifold) are notorious for leaking fuel?

i used to own a 1995 chevy truck with tbi and what you need to do is buy 2 new injectors they sit right above the throttle body and they are easy to switch out they have 2 problems either get gummed up and you run lean or fall apart and you run rich this usually happens between 100,000 to 200,000 miles. i would recommend getting a new throttle body from jegs or summit they get better gas milage and are way better than stock but if you get after the throttle a lot it will get worse milage hope this helps you.

another thing that will help you is get a new cap and rotor and a set of plug wires it will bring it back to life.
