Survived by being stabbed with a needle every hour, on the hour that night for them to make sure the internal bleeding was stopping on its own to avoid operating.

And 1500mg vicodin at a time for a week or so after, and during that week I also stripped the car of all the good parts. Myself

That was back in 01'

I skipped the buffing and took it as a good way of getting out of nightmare 4th gen plug/wire changes.

11 am or so, on my way to work near the stadium.
Left the light at hillsborough and hesperides heading towards dale mabry.
Rolling along at 45 mph, center lane, 2000 ford explorer heading towards me in the turning lane to turn across hills.
Next thing i know he's turning out in front of me, no time to hit the brakes nor downshift. Swerved right, he hit me in my door, car shot across the other lane and bouned off a phone pole.

People on scene thought I was done, nobody was near the car when I came to, hearing the alarm screaming, and tried to get out, was taken out of the car through the non existent hatch on a board.
