well i was leaving work let the car idle for a minute ran back into work to get some papers and when i come back out it has a burning smell, a few seconds later smoke start coming out of the dash by the hvac controls and radio. I pull the radio and the hvac out restart the car and it doesnt burn anymore, however my gauge lights in the cluster dont work.....any ideas or similar experiences

 

Prob a short in the radio or something. Check your fuses. But maybe its a good excuse to sell the 92 and use that money to fix your T/A!

 

once i stop havin to help my g/f financially my t/a will be back....and then the trans will most likely go..i have bad luck
