Default s10 grand national

i have a 4.3 vortec in a s10. carburated, all the usual tricks. my ? is will 3.8 grand national heads work??? i have a edelbrock high rise on it now. does erthin fit or is there gonna be problems? i have center bolt valve covers, if it matters.

No, the GN 3.8 is a completely different engine, the only thing that fits are other 4.3 heads, go figure all the syclone/typhoon guys use ported vortec heads, its either that or something like $2500 for the set of alum heads available for them.

GN heads suck anyways, like said use vortecs or you can find aluminum heads for around 500 if you look hard enough. i have a set of bowtie 23 degree heads for my new turbo 4.3 sitting on my engine stand
