Question ? transmission type swap ?

is it possible to swap out a automatic transmission and drop in a six speed (lets say in a 4th gen camaro z28.. ) i know it would take alot of work... but what would i need 2 do it and how much would it cost? is it even worth it to try or is this just a ridiculously dumb idea?

Yes it can be done. Though you better not be talking about doing it to a V6 4th gen.

your lookin at about 1000-1500$ just for the T56... then more money for the crossmember, pedals, slave, driveshaft work etc. better off buying a 6 speed right off the bat. im tryin to get a T56 to put into my monte carlo ss and im up to about 2k in parts and thats not even after i drop it in.

its not really worth the $$$ and time sourcing the parts to convert. save the money for the conversion and build up the 4l60E with a stall and you will be much happier in the long run.
