Default ECOtec - s10 questions

I was contemplating about motors/parts for my 95 Sonoma last night. When the thought of a s/c ECOtec motor popped in my head. So I was wandering, would the ECOtec block bolt to the stock trans? If not How hard would it really be to use all the s/c'er parts on the 2.2L in the truck now?

thanks in advance,
-Mike

you would have to use a sky or a solstic engine because all the others are ment for fwd. even then i don't think the s10 trans will bolt up to it.

Its as simple as an adapter plate for that, But what I'm wandering is how hard it would actually be.
