thanks for the info..he does have a nitrous kit but need more stuff to install it correctly on his lt1..it was a nitrous kit from a 04cobra and has the extra solenoid to make it wet..but i guess the TB plate or something he needs and would just be more then he wanted to pay to have it installed...but this might be a new option with the rebuild..would you recommend the standard oem pistons or forged internals?..im unsure of how strong these components are..and just trying to help him ask the correct ?s during the rebuild...

well, the forged internals wont hurt if he is going to spray it. and there really is no plate system i like for the LT1's. the inherent design of them i tend to think the rearward cylinders get more nitrous. to just put a wet nozzle in the intake track would be fine though, i ran mine that way for some time, aswell as many others. but there is extra stuff he should buy just to be on the safe side that could really start to total up. like fuel pressure safety switch, bottle heater/push system, timing retard box, nitrous filter, and a couple other things. it gets pricey to do things correctly.

if i decided to take it to a shop is there any one in particular i should look at? are u assoc. w/ any shops? What would be a good price if i just wanted to get it running again if all it needed was to be rebuilt? thanks for all your help by the way. you seem to be one of the very very few that take the time to answer GM Tech ?'s You cld be completly misguiding me and there is no one here to argue you about it. So either you know your shit or no one cares to correct you. Either way... thanks for all the info...
