I was driving like normal and I tried to accelerate and the car stumbled a little bit and I look at the gauges and it overheated, I pulled into a Sweetbay and bought some water and filled it up and drove some more and it started to overheat again but I was close enough to make it home...when I get near my house the thermostat quickly degressed back down to normal operating range and stayed there. Im guessing the thermostat stuck??? And where can I get a Hypertech 160 local?? LS1 BTW!!
or you have air in your lines
to test the thermo take it out and put it in a pot of water on your stove, set the stove to 180o if the thermo does not open then it's the t-stat, I'd say it's worth a shot to check it out since last I heard LS1 thermos were in the range of 35-40 dollars
