Have a couple of questions helping a coworker fix it car runs but no power, checked spark it has, check compression 155 across, did a boost leak check found that waste gate actuator blown also leaks at couplers, number one piston on top dead lines mark at zero on harmonic balancer, fuel pressure at idle is 36 psi, dont have a scan-master or a scan tool but the paper clip test check engine light flashed once then twice rapidly i know i shouldn't be working on the car if i dont know what i am doing but i am going to try just getting some more info all the help would be appreciated thanks

 

code 12 is the basic code...it should flash 3 times, then flash any problem codes, then flash the code 12 3 more times.

is the turbo spooling? shaft play? seized? can you hear knock? could be alot of things.

 

turbo is an precision sc61 turbo has no shaft play brand new has receipts when i drive the car does not sound like any pinging ok knocking hit it in first gear it fells like a power wheel no power at all not even a peal out of the tire i am going to borough a scan tool to plug it in the adal port so i can read vital sign and see what i get

 

is it making any boost?

 

car had no boost gauge i had one laying around put it on with a blow actuator hit like 5 psi took the acuator off tied it shut got up to 10 psi and let of but at 10 psi still no power still diagnosing car as i speak going to gm monday with car my friend works there he has a scan tool going to hook it up read the vitals

 

is there any kind of evident exhaust leak?

if all you got was a code 12 then there isnt anything wrong with the sensors.
just a thought, does the car have a cat on it? maybe clogged.

if you can get it over to st pete I have a scanmaster and turbolink. we could easily hook them up and see what is going on.
