Default installed headers.. problems !

well I installed mac mids.. with there ORY with a bullet muffler at the end..

its loud as fawk.. but actually sounds pretty good..

but its running like ass.. its hesitating below 2k.. horrible backfire if I try to load the throttle in a higher gear.. like say if I'm at like 1600rpm in 5th gear and I give it like a 1/3 throttle it will stumble/hesitate and pop horribly..

the Y pipe is banging a little bit too..

can somebody give me any ideas on how to get the car running good?

I would check the 02's. Moving them around while doing a header install can make them go bad.

The Y pipe will stop banging after a while. Mine used to under load until it worked itself in.

its the o2sensors... unplug them and it will be more driveable for the time being but your gas mileage will suck and your computer will have to relearn them when you get new ones

I would have to say o2 sensors also. Make sure the Y pipe is sealed up well to the headers. Check o2's.

Any codes?
