Default 350 engine need help

Ok i went muddin a couple of weeks ago and got some water in the engine. no biggie, then afterwards it started to mis fire. so i was rompin on it and then it made a little noise not sure on the noise because i didnt hear it.well now it started to have a little knock and blow alot of white smoke out of the driver side exhaust. so i went and replaced the head gaskets and rod bearings because 1 was spun. started the truck back up and still doing the same thing with the smoke and missing but no more knock. what would cause the smoke if i have brand new head gaskets on? im lost

White smoke is oil. How are the valves? Maybe you ate a stem seal and it's pissing oil into the combustion chamber? Pull the plugs, are any coated in oil?

You can tell the difference between white smoke and blue smoke? I can't, they both look white to me.

You have bent a rod slightly if you got water in the engine if you are still getting the knocking noise. Also does the white smoke have a blueish gray tinge to it? If so it would be oil.

The smoke sounds like a cracked head. Please clearify on the color of the smoke though. Is it pure white or is it bluish white?

yea i think it is kinda gray. but there are no bent rods because i changed all the rod bearings and there is no knock but still the smoke and when the engine is warmed up it has 0-5 psi oil. also the engine is still missing as well. i think this is all due to some shot rings on one of the cylinders i think number 7 because in the dark that header glows red. well thnx for the help guys
