2 mph from all the free mods combined, I'd buy that seeing how my brother's car has responded to them.

just because a mod is cheap or free doesn't mean it's ineffective

I'd do the EGR... seeing you have a 99... it took me and LSS1 5 minutes.
thanks for the advice. it wont make a 2 mph increase. you shoudl take your car to the track or dyno and learn for your own knowledge base.

you seem to disagree with me on so many things. it doesnt bother me as you are entitled to your opinion. but where do you base these remarks? have you done these mods? have you taken it to the track and seen the improvements? dynoed it atleast? please tell me.

I reccomend them and I was just sharing my experience... any1 want any tips PM me I got this chit down to a science.

and I did every last free mod btw... and probably invented some other shit

why does alex's car outperform some of the other LT1's with similar mods? how does james SS run like it does? just sharing info and stating that maybe you should look into it... my .02$

Well the weight factor of the driver has to do with it, plus you never know alex could have a bottle hidden lol.

free mods are a ploy by gm to make you think you can do something with your free time.

its hard to actually tell any difference, and you really wont feel it...throttle body bypass? TB mod? (be careful the voltage doesnt read too high) yea its all little shit you can do...but its pointless. i wouldnt waste my time with the egr crap till i went to put in long tubes. i wouldnt fiddle with the TB till i went to buy a new one to put on.

half of the "proven" numbers you see on the web, are probably attributed to atmospheric changes or other changed variables. i know for a fact ls1's and lt1's trap speeds can vary greatly depending on time of day, and the conditions of the day.
