I've had the Fernco on my car for about 4 yrs. now, no cracked lid yet. I've never heard of anyone losing power with the TB or smooth bellows.
I figure, A.) I had the fun(?) of doing it myself. B.) every little bit helps, so do as many 2-5hp mods as poss. and it has to add up.
I say go for it! It's a good way to spend the day! Good time to do the bumpstop mod too, if you haven't yet!

I would have someobdy do it. If you think you have enough skill to do it ur self then fine. I say that ill think youll fuck ur TB up too.

 

why dont you put synthetic in everything tranny rear end and motor.. you will gain more hp and everything will last forever

 

lol. When you say port it, you cant really get alot of gains, unless you enlarge the entire thing, which would require bigger butterflies I think. (kinda speakin from common sense thing here, could be wrong). So just making the tb before the flies and after bigger wont do alot.

Prob be better to buy a 90mm or 58(forgot if you got an lsone or El Tee.)
