yea its the 2.4 twin cam. how would it run without a timing belt? and why would the dealership say they fixed the timing belt if there wasnt one.

they could have meant timing chain

there's so many similar but vastly difference phrase in automotive tech, I can understand the confusion

Once upon a time in a place called mullet land cams were driven by chains. The motor in your car was designed by mullet engineers, so they used a chain thinking, "hey, it's made out of steal, it's got to be stronger than a rubber belt" They were wrong, not everyone can be as smart as the Honda engineers, if they were, Honda wouldn't build such far superior vehicles.............
