Default Gutting Cats... is it difficult??

well looks like my whole car got foxored with the whole electrical thing and I'm gonna have to temporarily have a catback/

well my minds set on the catback.. TSP rumbler system..

well if I'm going budget for a few months I figure I'm gona max it out and gut the cats on the car.. is this hard to do? how long does it typically take? will it send my car into another fit?

btw where is there a goodplace that sells exhaust tips?

I like the look of the SLP exhaust tips...

any exhaust shop sells tips, WELD ON ONES, not shitty screw down at your local
walmart/pep boys/autozone

gutting the cats is easy, it takes just alot of patience and free time, just get
something sharpish and chizzle away

also like I said I'm not 100% but I believe gutting the cats on your car will cause the
post-CAT o2's to read funny since the exhaust will be much richer with hollow cats

Dont think you will want to do that. One of the cats is in the exhaust manifold. that would be pretty tough to clean out.

But ltlost is right, it will throw the rear 02s off. you can just unplug them, they will throw a code but wont put the car into limp mode, as far as i know...
