Got into an argument of sorts today at Coastal with Sam and a few of the other resident groupies over the seemingly large following of LS1 sack swingers. Now don't take this the wrong way, but how come it seems like every time some big event or new car comes along it always seems the next words out of someones mouth is "lets see if its got something for -insert fast local ls1 here-" I'm sorry but I just don't see them anywhere. Now the valid argument I got into today was about the amount of power that certain cars have generated and the never ending argument from Sam about Vinces power to weight ratio..blah blah blah.... how come Terrys 03 Cobra can go 10.80 or .90 i cant remember, on 18" radials, on pump gas, off the spray, but never get one mention when big power cars come up? its always "just wait until -insert fast local ls1 here- comes out" are all ls1 guys just instant heros?if they are its time to sell both my mustangs and buy one i guess.

 

it's sucks being the illegitimate bastard brother of the LS1, no one ever brings us up in
any conversation involving the words "fast"

on a serious note:

I'm sure there are a couple LS1s that lurk this board that can put a hurting on 99% of
Tampa, with the exception of juiced and hybrid it seems like alot of the LS1 big dogs
keep a low profile

 

you are proving my point here, where are they? are they invisible?

 

alot of the high hp street cars that run for cash always keep a lower profile,
they don't want everyone to know what they run and what they have done.

kind of hard to make money when everyone knows what they're up against

 

these are high horsepower ls1 based cars we are talking about? do you actually know of any or are you just guessing?

 

nah I'm just speaking about the faster street cars in general

 

ok, im specifically talking about ls1 or lt1 cars.

 

if you would like to see some fast ls1 cars come down to anti-venom where i work and you will see why they are so fast.

Why did my car come up? Terry's car is crazy fast and everyone talks about his car. I have no clue who does not give Terry props. Once my car gets repaired from the clutch explosion I will be back out. My car is quick, but I am by far no where near some of the faster cars out there. I am happy to play though.

as for someone saying "let see what it has for -insert ls1 owner here-" i dunno. i dont really care. i have never heard anyone say that. i've only seen sam's car out two or three times, i have seen al's car out numerous times, and dan just about every week.

as for not seeing the fast LS1's around town. stop hanging out at sam's
