Default Reliable Cars or Stupid Mistakes on our part?

I've been trying to figure out if our GM V8 setups are reliable or we do stupid things to break them? For the most part most of my breakage has been due to aftermarket parts. Not the actual GM part. The only thing I can think of that GM poorly makes is the AC components and sucky wiring. Other than that when I dont bother with my car it runs forever.

Should we just accept things break and that is the nature of the beast, or can we take precautions to prevent breakage? What do you guys think?

the SBC is an awesome motor that requires very little upkeep in comparision to alot of other motors, it's just all the sensors and wires attached to it that are shitty

you must have just started working at AV huh...

FMS > AV...sorry.

anyways vince, its kinda inevitable, the only sure way to prevent breakage on a modded car, is to mod EVERYTHING adequately. they'll last bone stock, as they were "intended" from the factory. but once we start to fiddle, we get caught up in the game.
