Reliable Cars or Stupid Mistakes on our part?
The Opti spark is the most badass design ever! Name another car where you have to remove the water pump, to change the distributor cap and rotor!!

Another great feature of the Opti is that it warns you of your water pump going bad. When the car fails to start, CHECK THAT WATER PUMP!
To contribute though, I'd say the clutch is the final example of the inability to meld street and race together. Its SOO easy to make big HP these days, and pretty cheap too. The problem is getting a driveline to hold that HP. The weakest link will be the clutch. The problem is that a clutch that will hold that hp will not be fun to drive on the street. Setups like the Mcleod twin disk are about the best compromise (do they make one for LS1's?) but they are still expensive. If they make one for your car Vince, you should seriously think about one of those. Sure the initial cost is high, but they will drive decently even with high HP, and as much as Mcleod won't tell you this, the clutch disks are nothing more than stock disks with some of the nose machined off so it can be rebuilt locally for $100/disk.
