I just want to make sure that a computer from an ls1 will work with an ls6?

That's what I figured. I just wasn't sure if they used a different computer.

I have swapped in an LS6 crate into an SS. The computer will work fine, although it will need tuning. You will need to swap the oil pans, windage tray, and oil pickup.

I think that was it.

The question is why bother? For the price of the Ls6 crate motor you could build a much stronger ironblock stroker or just a heads\cam stock block.

I found a real good deal on an ls6 with heads and a cam already. It was barely more than a heads/cam package alone. I think I'm gonna hold off on it though.
