My new project
400 SBC has a big bore and long stroke. can make LOTS of power with nitrous. i would personally go with that unless you wanted to pour money into a dart block 351 based motor and boost it.

if u go with a 400 get the 2 bolt main block and make it into a splayed 4 bolt main..
400 are ok the are a weak block if i where u just get a 350 block
they can stand up to some shit
how much h.p are u trying to get out of the motor.
if its more then 800h.p i would fined a bowtie block
i have a 327 bored 30 over for sale.
i also have a 400 2 bolt main block just sitting here
it been block filed so for street use u would have to get a oil cooler.
