I dont think the 2nd set of barrels are opening at full throtel?

its not the heads because before it was carburated it was injected and there was no problem. Its a brandnew carb do you think the float levelin the rear bowls could need adjusting? I think the linkage opens the barrels but the vaccume pulls the fuel through?

Carbs do need tuning right out of the box. You can put it on from the box, but it wont be dialed in for your combo. I dont remember all the details but I think just the air being drawn in from the motor pulls the fuel in. Get ahold of Scott in the Ford section for carb help.

im thinking its the linkage, is there a linkage kit I could buy to replace the crapy one I have?

You could look at the Lokar stuff. I think its pricy, but good.
