Had one more quick question......................how many types of corvettes were there?? I saw a "ZRL or a ZR1" or sumthin like that at the show on saturday........never heard of that one so I'm wonderin actually how many models of the vette are/were out over the past generations of them.........I appreciate all your guys help

 

The zr1 vette was made from 1990-1995. I believe 90-92 were 385 hp and 93-95 were 405 hp. The engine was a dual overhead cam 350. I think redline was about 7000 rpms. Pretty nasty cars. The engine was designed by lotus and built by mercury marine

 

Damn................sounds like a monster. I guess thats why that guy was laughin when someone asked him if the ZR1's were quicker than the 5.0 mustangs.......it was areally nice car.......havent really heard or seen a domestic revving passed like 6500 before.maybe its just me.

I ran a 13.5 in my WS6 stock, the parts can interchange but its no where near like a Honda, they have crappy rear ends though..the ZR1's are pretty stout cars but good look getting one under 20k in good condition...their prices are like that of Supra's...the dash isnt bad in the TA's except mine cracked and I used to use Armor All all the time, im pretty sure it was b/c I had a 3600 stall converter and 373 gears w/o Subframe Connector's..hope this answer's some of your questions..also try looking at

honestly, the quickness, comfort, and reliability your get from an LS1 equipped cars is almost untouched, i would have to compare it to an 03 Cobra, in most aspects minus power, but very few mods on an LS1 will net you mid 12's consistantly. i mean take Corey R for example, i believe he just has a stall, headers, exhaust, and nittos and he is doing 12.3 (when he wants to lol)
