Whats a stock LS1/LS6 bottom end gonna handle??

Only made 2 runs. Had a better time just hanging with my old man. Haven't been to that track with him not since it was called DeSoto Raceway...or something like that. I found your car parked with you nowhere to be found, or you were already in the staging lanes....just like the Goopster who I called out. I wouldn't have had nothing for you anyways; I may have been able to out launch you but your beast would have eventually chased me down....just like that 12 second @ 125 Honda hatch I ran.:o Next time bro. I'm trying to prove to myself that an LT1 doesn't need any internal mods/power adders to run well, so I may have a little something for you in case we ever run....that is unless you go with that heads /cam combo, then I still won't have a chance. I did see you headed northbound on Dale Mabry this past weekend around 11:30ish; did you come from Sonics? My girl and I were headed to her brother's house in S.Tampa to celebrate her B-day.

Yeah i was stopping by my friends house near Gandy Bridge... stopped by to say hi to the badrap guys at sonics too..

Who knows what im doing... I'll be doing something but its just a matter of when... maybe next week... maybe next month..

I am with Al here, my guess would be 550-600. I know that from the people I have seen fail most of the time they have arod bolt fail or possibly the high revs on the ls1. I know the stock ls6 is set to spin to 6500 so there is probably a difference. I however plan to put a new bottom end together so that when I spin to 7200 I will not have a worry in the world.

Al, I got some products from Bowling Green last week, got to be happy with their work that is for sure.
