Weiand, GMC, and BDS make popular old school 'chargers... Maybe a 6-71 blower if you build the bottom end with lower comp. forged pistons.

There are also centrifugals that can be mated to carbed engines.

no i dont, i really dont much about it. i would really like it if someone could maybe come out and drive it and maybe take a look at it and tell me what they think

 

Any car can handle a SC it just MUST BE SETUP RIGHT!!
If any I would recommend a centrifugal blower, you will make more power than a roots but less lower end torque. If your converter is a higher stall then this will not matter. Procharge it! The Air to Air intercooling is worth the power as well as the detering of detonation. However TURBOS are where it is at!! You could probably fab up a turbo kit for much less than any SC setup and make way more lower end as well as more higher end power. Any vehicle can be turbocharged but again it must be setup right.
