1/4 time and trap speed/SKOOL ME PLZ
ok here is the thing.
my swapped civic ran 14.6@97 then i sold it and with no mods cept diff tires ran 14.0@98
why was i only able to run 14.6 and trap 1mph less?
did i come outta the hole like shit? and then make up for it?
and the other kid came outta the hole good and the rest was shit?

well if he hooked up better i dont get why his trap speed wasnt higher, shit my car pulled hard all the way to 120 so i know 98mph wasnt even near the limit

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the mph calculated as an average of your speed over the last 100 feet? So you can't really use it to compare two different times unless there is a significant difference right? I've seen cars that have been more than 5 or 6 tenths off on ET and still only been 1 or 2 mph different in trap speeds... so traction was definitely the major factor here. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.
