That intake came with the car.. what if I put a K&N Cone Filter on the current intake? Would that be the same or no? It would still be sucking in hot air wouldnt it?

 

that would make no differnce what so ever.

It would be almost the exact same thing you have now, only it would say K&N instead of whatever it says now.

The filter doesnt matter, it's not changing the surrounding air temperature at all. The location of the filter is what will make the difference. A cold air intake usually directs the filter to somewhere outside of the engine bay.

 

i dont think it is worth it to mod a NA talon/eclipse.

 

I was looking, and there is this wire/cord underneath the seat, when I pull on it a little bit, the seat will slide, when I dont pull on it, it wont slide, wierd. And the Cold Air Intake will be in this week. By The Way, I think it's worth Modding any car, because It doesnt have a turbo I shouldn't mod it? There is a Turbo Kit avaliable for it though Maybe I will invest in that eventually.

Ill have this car next month, I will agree to that $10 bet. I am already making plans to invest $1k into it by the end of this month to do some minor mod's and some repairs that it needs on the exterior/interior.
