Here's an idea for you that I've wanted to make a video about but realistically I never will. I occasionally use a hand pump garden sprayer for the garden or degreaser or whatever. I've always hated 1. Trying to open it, 2. Pumping it up to some random pressure, 3. Trying to open it after it's had anything in it that's remotely sticky. I bought a new sprayer, a cheap pressure gauge from Amazon for maybe $5., And a standard rubber tire valve. Two holes drilled in the top of the tank and those two items inserted I now have a sprayer I can pressurize with my air compressor in a few seconds. Even if your compressor has been off, you only need it to run a few seconds to gave enough to fill this many times or you can use a bike tire pump. Another addition I plan to add is an alternate opening that I can use to fill the tank using a funnel. I can't be the only one who has had these frustrations.

Another example of the California influence on the rest of the country. Most of these plastic jugs are manufactured in China and are designed to comply with California standards. The spout vent is supposed to draw up gas fumes escaping the tank into the jug just like a California type gas nozzle at the pump. These "eco-friendly" innovations are the cause for more spills and wasted gas than any other method of transferring fuel. It's a shame that now you have to pay extra to recreate the trusty ol' tin Jerry Jug and goose neck spout

I HAVE ALREADY REPORTED YOU TO THE EPA!... I sent them numerous reports, I told them that I need to report myself and everyone else who has used a portable fuel can that the EPA has ****ed up for spilling fuel on the ground. They don't care, I also reported the EPA to the EPA for turning Colorado water into toxic orange juice while blowing through tax money doing something they didnt need to **** with. Also I reported the EPA to the EPA for implementing a system that could be easily manipulated and has a history as such then blaming VW for taking advantage of the loophole to take the heat off themselves. I also reported myself for zero ****s given environmental practices after taking OTC asthma inhalers that cost $12, has help millions and millions of people, that cost me a 3AM ER hospital trip for $1000 instead of a trip to CVS for $12 and why, Because a little ****ing asthma inhaler gonna burn a hole in the ozone layer. I reported myself for letting R-134A in the air but told them no worries about greenhouse gas because I always let some R-12 out after to allow the greenhouse gas to escape, Reported myself for dumping oil, hell where does oil come from? the ground. Helps repel the mosquito.

I'm curious about the vent location. Do you find that when you pour (particularly when the can is full) fuel wants to spill out the vent? Seems a little further back would be a little more strategic. Anyway, I, just like everybody else, despise those worthless "spill free" garbage quality dispensers. Actually, I think they are designed to spill and piss you off! A government product for sure.

Ha! I just did this to the EXACT same can yesterday before I saw this video. Kit works as-advertised. Pro Tip: Use a step drill for the vent hole- it makes a much cleaner hole than a regular drill bit in plastic. Just make sure the "steps" are far enough apart on your step drill- the plastic is pretty thick and you want a HOLE, not a tapered divot of mushed up plastic to push the vent into.

I have to drive through non emission test zones, from my home to get to a emissions test facility for my cars. Because my address is a jog in the map, but I'm actually rural, they put me in with the city dwellers. So I drive for 20 minutes one way to test cars that have never failed emissions test, because bureaucracy demands it. How is any of this environmental? WTF did I save? It's another make work program for people who could not get a job at McDonald's. I could add a lot more to your list of stupid shit the government does and how it all negatively affects our lives with real loss. These bullshit regulation(s) have pushed me to revolt. I formerly worked with a enviro-tree huger-save the planet bullshit artist. I used to tell the guy I was going to club a baby seal to death, if he didn't get away from me.

yea i know what the ****, taking away the vent cap?, guess liberals dont know what glugging is, wish they had to suffer for their bullshit like the rest of the world, what if we banned quick chargers for electric cars cause they "charged too fast and were a fire hazard" they would just lose their ****ing mind, i do however like a few styles of valve nozzles, like one where after you cut the bullshit off it all you have to do it put the hook on the rim of the tank and push however hard you want to get as much gas flow as you want, assuming its not vapor locking in the can, and the other kind with a no bullshit button on the back, all accept you have to have one hand on the button which is one less hand holding the can, its only better than a normal can in the way that a normal one is a pain in the ass if the can is full to the brim, you barely tip it and as your putting gas in it gets all over the place

Thanks for a great video . Don't forget , you can also use a short valve stem as a vent . Same 1/2"hole . REMOVE the core ! Just use a piece of fishing line to feed it up from the inside .
