damn you fucking dipshits. this 86 Corolla hatchback is from malaysia so of course they are the hatchiroku/ Trueno not the gts that we get here in the states. damn dont flame till you know.
oh and the f20c is the s2000 motor. i guess thats why they have the s2000 gauges in there.
and i doubt theyd have a car from Malaysia in a U.S. magazine.

i dont get it. i post something nice and authentic and you flame me because i called it by its real name. i also hardly ever post that much on this board. reason why i have been posting a lot this week is becuase i have been trying to get my friends car running, adjusted, and tuned a little so he can make it the SS with out snapping a valve cause i didnt have valve shims any smaller than a .005

its cool that you worked on SR5s and FX16s. but look at the picture on the outside shot on the car. its right hand drive. im not exactly sure but i dont think they had FX16s in japan. thats why its called a TRUENO or HATCHIROKU.
Ive been look for a GTS but no one has one for sale and if I do find one they are asking way too much.

omfg guys... the word Hatchi Roku is just how they say 86.... the number eighty-six translated to japanese is HATCHI ROKU! they are calling it a number just like we would say 240... or 300zx. or Z28 or whatever.. the drifters dont give the names.. they ARE the names!!!

Also this car is the closest you can probabally get to having the initial D hatchi roku.... 240HP was what it had. and 240HP is what the S2000 motor has.. 2.4 liter with 9000 revs... 1.6 liter with 11000 revs.. but the torque and HP are almost identical.. its really cool!
