Default Selling More Than Three Cars Per Year

I've had one car totaled out this year (sold to insurance), another I sold privately and I'm about to buy a junker that I'll likely sell after I get something I really like.

My question is, have any of you personally sold more than three cars IN YOUR NAME within a one year period?

Does anyone know what the penalty is for such crime?

I've heard anything more than three and you need a dealer's license...

Experience?

Florida Auto Dealer Licensing Requirements at DMV.org: The DMV Made Simple

Wasn't that hard, its 3 cars within 12 months. Its also not just selling, but also buying, so as long as you buy or sell less than 3 cars you're good.

Yeah. I get that. My question was directed at people who have sold more and gotten a warning or penalty or anything of that nature. I dont plan on selling over that quota within 12mo. But for the life of me i cant find out the penalty for doing so, or if its even enforced.

It looks like from what I found out, you would have to purchase a dealer's license. It doesn't say anything about fines or whatever, but you probably wouldn't be able to register anymore cars unless you do have a dealer's license.
