no American company has anything amazing right now. At least the Japanese companies still have their reliability.
Same old Mustang, shit GM cars, and listing chrysler is an embarrassment.
BRZ/FRS is the biggest thing right now, so i'll have to go with that.

According to sales iirc gm is number 1 in the world, ford is #2 or #3. Toyota moved to #4 bc of their accelerator problems and Honda is #5.

If I had my money on it I'd go with Big 3 from US. Especially with the recent releases of the cars coming from Ford and GM (primarily Chevy). Chrysler also will be bringing in Alfa's and other cool cars that we haven't had in many years. Hopefully by then they fix the Italian reliability.
Japanese have had nothing but recalls recently.

When you actually start comparing vehicles side by side, domestic cars tend to have shit for interior and general build quality issues, but the price tag is as high, if not higher than imported competition.
But, when you start looking at some of the Japanese import cars, you can really see how the overall quality has slipped. nissan is a joke of its former self. New hondas are "neat" but they aren't the same "kind' of car they used to be. Why toyota sells so many camrys and corollas is beyond me, sitting in one is just as bad as their domestic counter parts.
For me, walking around the auto show, BMW just because the bench mark that everything else got compared to, and I'm not really a big beamer fan. You look at the build quality you get, the interior, and the price and compare that to so many other cars, and a vast majority of them fall short, but yet, have the same price tag.
The majority of the manufacturers are in a transition period. They are still trying to guess what they think the market really wants. The first one to wake up and get back to basics is going to come out on top. The BRZ is a step in the right direction. We'll have to see what happens next to determine the "winners"
