I've been on here forever but don't post much anymore. Anyway, I got my ass handed to me by a Yellow mid '90's 3 series the other day. The thing sounded like it may have had an LS swap in it because it just didn't sound like a BMW motor. The guy was cool, we slowed and talked for a few and he said he was making 550 to the wheels which I believe. I'm probably making right around 400 or so now and he strolled away pretty easily. I just wanted to see if anyone on here knew him and what was in that thing.

 

I remember at one point there was a guy named Frank or something who either had a large turbo setup or something. I remember someone saying something about a v8 or some swap but this was years ago. I had also heard he moved away so I'm not really up on my hearsay. I think his was a two door coupe as well.

 

Yeah, I talked to a friend that knows the car. He's pretty sure it's a supercharged LS motor swap. Thing was sick fast. I just wish I still had my last car that made 620 to the wheels. Ah well, wish in one hand....
