Default Tires...

I'm looking for a tire that is inexpensive (NEW), and has good all around, but most importantly rain traction. Anyone have any suggestions? It's for a 195-55/50-15 or 205 55/50-15.

Dunlop SP5000 isnt a bad all season touring tire. And i was a fan of my Sumitomo HTR 200s.

NOTE: these are NOT performance tires. You cannot do both. If you do want to do both, MONEY comes into play....aka Bridgestone S-03 PP.

thanks for the suggestion, i'll definitly look into them.

something i should've said at first that you reminded me of, this is for daily driving a crx, not for performance at all.

no performance? HTR200s. They own And depending on size, probably could get an entire set shipped to you ~200 bucks.

BIG thumbs up from me. Thats what my street tires will become once i finish off the current ones that came with the car when I bought it.

AVS intermediates are a performance tire....maybe not what youre looking for, but yeah, closeout deals are cool Ive got a set of the rear of the MR2 right now. 7000 miles and already well into the wear bars.

When trying to make up your mind on your choices, refer to the UTQG.

One thing to note is that the utqg treadwear ratings are specific to each brand. A 200 treadwear Yokohama has absolutely ZERO comparable value to a 200 treadwear Bridgestone.

Simply put, you cannot compare numbers from one manufactuer to another.

WOW! I got a set for 230 shipped. They're not really what I'm looking for as of now (i use the car for deliverys for a little while longer), but I ordered them for my slipstreams for when I'm done delivering and for events. Thanks!
