Not much has changed either, car is over 200k now and it was time to do some leaking top end gaskets and I got bored waiting for the my new maf, alternator and gaskets to come in.

Nice.what type of paint did you use for that ? Regular rattle can will usually melt and fade away.

 

Just a blue engine enamel, had some left over from my calipers so I thought what the hell since the blower looked like ass even after I cleaned it.

I liked the textured black look myself.



Block off those TB coolant ports in the LIM while you're in there.

 

I had the textured black on my rear valve cover as a test, I painted over the black with the blue I had and it came out textured as well and looks petty good. I have to finish smoothing my spare front valve cover then I'll do that one as well. Also screwed around with an srt4 and a talon tsi, had fun with those two and worked the regal a bit finally.
