I am honestly looking at them as a purchase by next year. I will wait until at least the 2nd year of a new model, ALWAYS. You never know what bugs or things come up with a new car that can become "Common problems" for the first year runs. Gives the companies time to make "improvements" for the next year and you'll be getting a better car, and aware of any "known issues".
I'd like to also see MPGs on them. (Yes, I know I should not consider that when buying a "sports car" but I'm driving a lot more for my job and I'd like something better than the 21mpg I'm getting in the neon.)

interesting. sounds like it could be a fun little car, but i vowed to never buy anything again that doesn't make good power, and where's the fucking torque? would consider if there was a turbo version in the future.

fyi, some GT86 were competing in this years 24h race at the ring and I think one of them won in its class....no problems with the cars as far as I know.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
