Mechanical may be a bit too basic to cover some of the structural analysis and the advanced dynamics you will need to know. I could be wrong and USF may have a specialty curriculum in ME to cover such topics as those.

My advice is get check the college catalog to see what the different curriculums are for the different degrees and programs.

I got my degree in aerospace engineering (ASE) since it was the only curriculum at U of F that covered what I needed to know to become a vehicle designer.

since when is an engineering degree at usf a 4 year plan?
when I started in 96 it was a 5 year degree.
the only way to fit in all the requirements within 4 years was to go full time year round including the summer semesters.

Yeah, engineering was almost a 7 year program for me but I only averaged about 12 credit hours a semester and attended only 2 summer semesters since I had to work to support myself.

Sorry for the mix up, but what I ment was that im going to USF for 4 years and studying engineering courses and getting my Bachelors, which is a requirement for the graduate school im going to. I didnt know what I was talking about previously.
