I started the tread to give props to the yard I felt was better, and people wanted to know what my experiance was so thats that.

 

And no I'm not going to pay full price at a dealer for parts since lqk is not the only junkyard in tampa.

 

I have my "inside" contacts at LKQ when ordering parts for the shop and those guys bend over backwards to help me and get me what i need and always courteous... It's when I walk in their u-pull-it sites that I encounter counter vermin that think they are the elite individuals on the planet. I will continue to endure their ignorance and BS because at times, I do find what I need, but you can't deny that they are supposed to be at least tolerable and not a flat out jerk right out the box...

 

Ya i get alot of ignorance when I go to lkq. For some reason they feel like they have to be smug.

No I'm not saying that at all. I've had nice guys there treat me like gold, but it only takes one guy to treat me like shit.

 

Dealer parts = brand new
LQK parts = worn out, used, may not last long, etc.. etc.. You can't compare the two. I buy dealer and I've also bought LKQ parts. You get what you pay for.

 

When people are pricks I stretch really big, they tend to be more tolerable afterwards.

 

Shorter shirts would make it easier to stretch and change the tone of a conversation.
