For those of you who don't know, The USF Society of Automotive Engineers competes in Formula SAE and Formula Baja against other schools. They engineer, design and build cars from scratch using precise measurements.

Q Motorsports offers scholarships to people involved in motorsports.
It was my pleasure to have known TR member Blue2KSS during the time he was President of USF-SAE from 2006 to 2009. He now works as a Mechanical Engineer for the Naval Surface Warfare Center.

The USF Society of Engineers race team plans to compete in 2012 at Detroit Michigan, Canada and hopefully Lincoln Nebraska. For more information go to www.usfracing.com

My name is Simon Restrepo. I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida. I started at USF in the Fall of 2007 and at the same time I became a member of the USF Racing (Society Of Automotive Engineers student chapter at USF-SAE). I'm graduating with a Bachelors Degree in May 2013. My career goal is to enter the motorsports industry either working for a race team, race engineering consulting firm or motorsports parts supplier. I also plan to get a Master's degree in Engineering Management or a Master's degree in Business Administration. The Q Scholarship is helping me get closer to my goals.
