The price seems steep, but i mean don't its a perfect body...Never really done or been around a full classic restore but im sure a rusted & beat up mustang is $$$$$ to repair.

I guess it would seem that way comparing a 65 stang with a new 370z or something. Even then there were versions that stopped and accelerated like crazy. Bottom line is a base drum brake mustang with an anemic motor and 60's suspension isn't really going to impress vs most modern cars.
I will say this i'd take a 65 hard top over any 60's/70''s/80's honda/toyota/mitsu yada yada but thats just me.

I'd take a lot of things over a 289 Mustang that has 4 wheel drum brakes. Go drive a 60's Mustang... they are seriously pieces of shit and aren't even worth that much at auction. Chevy all day for classic cars, they had big engines right from the get go.

I have worked in the classic car restoring business in addition to my other automotive experience and I can tell you that there are no "EXACT" specs in any reproduction parts. it's like telling me that aftermarket fenders for a civic will fit perfectly since they are according to spec. I will take this over ANY kit car/ reproduction non-ford company ANYDAY and feel confident that the car would look 1000 times more straight, lines are better without having to spend countless hours trying to make a non-ford Reproduction car with an s2k or whatever crap under it look straight. There is NO way its the same or even CLOSE.......and I speak from experience.....

you do realize this is just a body shell, right? you're a fucking retard kid. and the last time i checked, civics were slow as shit, sound like complete shit, and are uncomfortable as shit. so you REALLY have no room to talk.

FoxHondaRider....

You ever watch Berrett-Jackson? Those old Fords still go for a pretty penny... The Mustangs go for a decent amount of cash. Old Ford trucks go for a decent amount of cash too.
