Default Any write ups on pigtail terminal repair ? Rewiring

I'm stuck in the position of rewiring a pigtail. I have no means of transportation and wanted to know if there are any writes up on how to repair pigtail connections of a terminal.

My coolant temp sensor and knock sensor pigtail pretty much wore out and broke off right at the edge of the connector and I wanted to remove the crimped connection from inside the terminal and run fresh crimped wires from it.

I know with computer wiring most terminals use a latch on the inside and you can release this latch by sticking a bobby pin inside while pulling on the wiring. Not sure if it's the same as automotive but if anyone knows of any write ups or how to remove the connections from inside the terminal post it up.

Basically like a molex pin remover but somehow removing pins from a pigtail connector. I know a lot of these are made different but the concept is pretty much the same.

You should be able to release the pin from the front side with a small screwdriver. What kind of car?
