wow very nice and clean car :o. my boy has a galant was talkin about turbo charging in and what not. i honestly didnt know what to say when he asked what should i do other than custum turbo kit.

me and another galant owner started that site and now we have somethin like 1200 members in only a couple months, it turned out pretty good, we've built a few good galants on that site, and more to come
i had bags on it , not hydros, but they were just about as fast as hydros, but no i took them off , well taking them off right now, but a full Tein Suspension will be replacing it when its released in january, the suspension should cost around 1000.00 so i sold the bags for that price, that should set me up nicely for that when its time, till then i will be sportin stock suspension, you know, while im gettin the new motor put in, gettin some dents pulled outta the side, better to have it up off the ground when people at a body shop are gunna be drivin it in and outta the shop all day and stuff
but now my plans are to get the motor in, get the fmic and bov in , get it runnin, then put on the boost controller and apex s-afc, then its off to the dyno to tune at 17 psi

i wont take that as an insult but , i wanted to be original, i was the first to import that bumper cuz i hated the kits we have here in the states, i was the first to import that hood cuz i hate erebuni products, now, i set up accounts for other people to get the same, and sold them on the galant message board, i will be the first to do this motor swap
so like, while all the other galant guys are gettin their aem cai's and PERFORMANCE MUFFLERS put on, me and the other couple good galants will be breaking barriers for the non vr4 galants....
im not trying to be trendy, if anything i would be setting trends for galant owners, but i dont even want that, cuz i dont want people to copy me
my goal with this car was to make people say "THATS a galant?" then i run on the track, and drive down the street, i want to show it to people who normally dont like galants and have it change their mind.. but most of all, i do it to make myself happy, i feel good when i can look at a stock galant, (terrible and slow) and know that i made it look the way i want and faster...i dunno, its just what makes me happy...anyone can make a civic or accord look awesome simply because they have such a strong aftermarket support...(this also contributes to terrible looking civics and accords too) but anyways... they have a strong aftermarket support so all you have to do is go to a shop say what do you have for my civic and you get a book longer then the bible of parts you can get for it
try going into a shop and asking for something for a galant, people will just look at you wierd...
but anyways, im asuming you are talking about the motorswap being trendy since you said civics then 240s, yah those did become very popular swap cars, but to this day, no one has swapped a motor in an 8th gen galant , it was either this , or turbo my 4g64...this is a better idea: more reliable, more power, less money in the long run, easier to upgrade and tune
