For you look into full race, that way you dont blow your motor from your inexperience. Also what jdm thing? This is america and you drive a usdm rsx, nothing jdm about that.

I give this like 2 months before an 'I blew my motor' thread pops up and everyone says 'hey dumbass, this isnt hondatech or acuratech' or whatever tech an rsx would fall into.

I would suggest reading a few books before this scenario happens. Books by Corky Bell.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...y+bell&x=0&y=0

I have a couple of those books, very informative information for someone starting out with turbochargers.

Good luck. Mistakes on this scale are usually expensive.

I think you should leave your econobox alone and enjoy the fuel economy, reliability, and comfort of a somewhat new car.

But thats just my common sense talking.

I would start with suspension, brakes and wheels/tires. Probably tires first, what good is the extra power if you cant put it to the ground. My 2 cents. =/

With these questions I say no he needs no modifications, I say you need to become more mechanical savy without a doubt... Do reasearch and learn how the shit works instead of being the dumbass who overpays for shit and then blows his car up.

FUCKING THIS. Kid needs to learn basic maintenance and mechanical knowledge before attempting ANYTHING. I'm talking something as simple as changing spark plugs.

Although we could totally be getting trolled right now.
