p.o.v on hyundai?
All I know is my dads genesis is one bad ride. I really like that thing. Hyundai has the newest technology painting systems for their cars too if I remember correctly.

Decent cars nowadays. They were crap when they first came out, but not so much anymore. I wonder why they don't change their name to lose the stigma of being a "Hyundai" now that they're making a new class of car.

people hate because they don't understand. They'll continue to hate until they drive and or own one and see how nice they are. I miss my tibby so much it's ridiculous.

Why is it some people actually give a shit about what others think about their cars...and why is it they make it their mission in life to try to prove just how good a car x company makes? When did car enthusiasts get such fragile egos?

If you really want to know why, it was because of the Excel. It was a cheap car about 5k back then and it was completely done by 80k miles. We bought them as DD for work commute and after about 3 years and some change they were throw away cars. that is where they got the bad stigma. However they are a whole different company now but some have not forgiven them.

FUCK THAT, DRIVE THAT BITCH LIKE YOU RENTED IT.

Lets see....I'm retarded because I know history?? Facts are Facts! Honda did this first and it is a great business model that they are following. Nissan followed a different model so NO they are NOT all the same. I promise I am far more educated than you and I promise you won't say a fucking word to me in person!
So suck it.

Not what I stated, I talked about the warranty and cheap prices, Nissan tackle the US in a different way than Honda, by doing exactly what you said takeing on performance in an affordabll fashion. That is NOT what Honda did so thank you for proving my point for me. Honda did not come in and try to compete with the American V8's or any performance car to start out with. they did exactly as I stated in my first post and continue to state, they started with affordable reliable cars and gave them rediculous warranties to entice buyers. Then when people found out that they run forever and are great product for the $$ Honda started to increase the ammenties/luxuries/performance /prices of their cars and moved into the mainstream. <----What Hyundai is doing NOW!
Thank you you once again for proving my point though I appreciate the help
---And this is Honda's 1st car in the USA in 1967.....over SIX years before the oil embargo that caused the gas hike you speak of. Again, Facts...they are littered throughout History.
Definitely not made to compete against V8's...
