Plans to bring the Ford Focus RS stateside?
I would like some info on this......... is Ford ever planning on bring their RS stateside? I would figure they would considering the release of the STi, EVO, the new turbo-neon, and the turbo charged PT cruiser. Let me know if you have any info on this!!!!!

i read their are goin to next year but its gonna be called the focus type r or it might be the next gen svt focus.. ford wants comp. from the wrx and the evo7 ...and they want to populurize the WRC circut.....

The RS has NEVER been rumored to hit the states...at least by Ford. The only european Ford rumored to come over here is the Mondeo, and that seems to be an ongoing drama. Ford has been testing quite a few interesting concepts in the US...the 2.5Duratec V6 Focus and the AWD Turbo Zetec Focus. These just seem to be concepts, and hopefully they are test beds for something better to come in the US and not Europe.
The latest rumor is that the SVT will supposedly be getting either a roots type blower like its other SVT siblings, or possibly a turbo. Regardless of forced induction, the SVT will be getting the new Duratec line of 4-cylinders in the next 2-3 years. The Zetec line will be phased out in favor of this more fuel efficient, higher powered line of 4-cylinders. This is one of the reasons the aftermarket is so hesitant with the SVT. They don't want to risk all the capital to invest in R&D when the SVT is supposed to be getting this new motor in the next few years.

How about a FOCUS GT
when Ford gets its ducks in a row i wanna old school titled limited edition EGT (FGT) in line up with all the rice anyone can stand. Pretty gauges, and the apperance of a "SHAVED" body (smooth out the lines), and some nice buckets up front, the wheels need to have some tuck and bad chamber and the steering wheel with the toggle switches for N02, yeah yeah, how about a N02 kit already wired up, the super riced out...........................................[glow=red][shadow=green]
