Default General Car Chat *Please Read*

Welcome to the General Car Chat Forum. This forum was designed to allow a place for people to discuss general car information, discuss new car releases, and to just talk about cars in general.

This forum is NOT a Verbal Warfare Forum. Your opinions (both positive and negative) are welcome, but insults and personal attacks ARE NOT. There is absolutely NO REASON why a thread in this forum should be locked, none what so ever.

TampaRacing.com is a site that has helped bring local car enthusiasts together. Most of us are ADULTS, but here are a few "younger" members here. All are welcomed, as long as you act MATURE. Some areas of this site DO ALLOW some questionable behavior (Free-4-All for example), but at no time should that behavior flow into other forums.

Admin and Moderators at this site reserve the right to edit, delete, move, or lock and thread or post that they feel is inappropriate. They also reserve the right to ban any member who continue's to violate the site's "code of ethics". They are not nessacarily doing it to "get back at you", but rather to make this an enjoyable place. Moderators are JUST LIKE YOU. They aren't paid, they volunteer, and to be honest, it can suck, but they still do it.

Everybody here is given the same oppurtunity, but how you use it is up to you. Alot can be learned from this site. If all of your posts are made in FFA, then you are NOT a member of this site, just of that forum. FFA is not about cars, it is about "everything else". Don't be fooled, TR.com is about CARS.

So please, reflect upon this, and take it to heart.

Thank You
Charles

Craig, I relinquished my Admin and Moderator status a long time ago. I simply posted this becuase I enjoy this and many other forums here, and I would like to continue viewing them the way they were meant to be. I know I haven't oversteped my bounderies, as this is not a new subject, yet just a re-hash of current policy. I feel confident that the current moderators/admin of this site will agree.

Just wondering. It is probably not your job to police or baby sit this forum (or any others) as you are not a moderator anymore. No offense, but it is their job, not yours or mine, to do their moderating duties. Posting up crap like this only annoys people and provokes them to flame other people and their cars. Why not just PM a moderator or an admin and ask them to keep the area under watch more closely than they have before.

Anyway, I agree with you but it is not our job to tell people how to behave. Lets let the moderators lay down the law...it's their job.
