Alright I'm looking into buying a 350z and the owner of the car I'm looking at has told me that in order to unlock the passenger side door you have to unlock it on the driver side button in the door. You can't use the remote due to the alarm having a theft device or some crap and that it came from the factory like that. Is this true or is he retarded? I'm thinking you have to hit the button two times or hold it and it will unlock the passenger side. Help me out tr.

Oh yeah and it's an 03 if that matters

 

Not sure about that, but I do know if you hold the unlock button on the remote on those and Maximas and maybe some others Nissans the windows roll down. Neat feature.

 

Haha yeah it is cool I've been trying to research it and that's all I've come up with is the window roll down feature.

 

That sounds like bullshit to me. My g37 isn't anything like that and I'm sure nissan/infiniti have been using the same locking mechanism forever.

that shit happens with the old 300zx's because the parts inside the door wear out and no one every puts in the effort to tear the whole door apart to replace a little piece of plastic.

 

I have an 03, you just hit the unlock twice.

 

yeah guys that dude was retarded. i ended up not buying the car but i politely took the remote from him and hit it twice and he said oh okay. lol but thanks for the input guys
