Lets talk about your cars ...
I don't quite understand your dislike on the Mustang ??? What's wrong with it being a Ford ? You own a P71. Ford made. Very reliable. Very durable. You brag about this car. You've recommended this car to numerous people on this website.
Now on to the Ford Mustang. You dislike it because it's a Ford.. Why did you purchase a project car knowing it was a Ford ?

case - I did the valve cover gaskets on the vic, the first step is to jack up the front end, and remove the passenger tire and splash shield. Step two - remove EVERYTHING from the firewall on both sides.. the complete a/c system and braking system.. I had to recharge the a/c and replace the dryer just to change a $19 gasket.. Fords are not designed to be worked on without a beer in your hand.. not like the hondas, dodges, nissans, toyotas.. they keep things in mind for the shared_user.
Everybody's lists are looking good! I'm glad people are taking this seriously. This is nice. Thanks guys!

They run great , and are very good at what they are supposed to do, but when it comes to working on them they are total nightmares. Little things like poorly designed electrical plugs, and you need every sized wrench and socket in your box just to change a headlight bulb. they will use 1/4 inch and 9/32 screws on the same object! It's so very weird.

Likes: huge cargo capacity, great MTB transport, factory nav, fairly fun to drive
Dislikes: nothing (seriously) but if I weren't selling it I'd want to lower it a tad
PROJECT
1989 Jetta Wolfsburg - soon to be daily
Likes: easy to work on, finally runs, made in West Germany (significant to me since I lived in West Germany and visited East Berlin before the wall fell)
Dislikes: rust, some parts like window seals are needed but impossible to find

likes - runs 12s with little invested, looks good stock, subtle/sleeper, good seats, all the bells and whistles, ability to turn off stupid traction control, big fucking brakes, utility of hatch space in back, reliable, surprisingly well built and good quality of materials and fit/finish, lsd, indestructible 6 speed, fun factor is 11 out of 10, decent on insurance, good gas mileage
dislikes - 10 spoke wheels are the worst ever to clean, the fact it has traction control in the first place, front wheel drive (but i'm ok with it), it's not a coupe, head unit doesn't read data discs (that came out 6 months after i got mine), electronic throttle that won't open all the way unless you throw $450 at it in the form of some fancy computer gizmo.
