225hp? So that turbo added a whole 25hp to the output from buicks 2 decades ago?

No man, 255hp. Not 225. But the real number is the torque. 295 ft.lbs. Thats not too shabby for a little 4 banger. Keep in mind this car's performance is more than straight line acceleration, and it's not a big car. Mid-size I'd say at best. It's a very well rounded and well balanced upscale-ish performance sedan but at a cheaper price than the premium marquees.
Designed in Germany and proof tested at the 'ring. The word has been extremely favorable so far.
Personally, I'd be more proud to rock the Buick brand when someone asks me what I drive. I don't care about status symbols. If I can have a Buick that has all the features of a BMW or Lexus, but with AWD, and a 6 speed manual, and for nearly half the price....it'd seem a no-brainer to me.

You guys need to read... it's 255, not 225. That guy misquoted the HP.

According to Buick, its only 220hp with 258lb torque. You should go tell them they are wrong too.
