I am attempting to get a new car so I revmatch all my downshifts in hope that some moron behind me will 'not see my brake lights' and mutilate my car.

I need an SUV no really, I need it for the towing/hauling capacity(a rottweiler and 2 cocker spaniels do not fit into sport compacts comfortably, and the even the venerable SR20DE isn't torquey enough to haul a trailer plus racecar)

I usally shift to Neutral then coast to a stop while the clutch is depressed. Id rather go through brakes then go through clutches over a period of time. I never downshift.

its funny you should say that.. because depressing the clutch puts wear on the release bearing

just put it in neutral and brake if you are that concerned about the clutch.
